The project

B Life Toolkit is an internal ecosystem of tools designed to standardize how the team builds user interfaces and digital products. Its goal was to establish a shared foundation that promotes visual consistency, code reuse, and a better developer experience. The ecosystem includes a component library, a centralized icon system, a collection of reusable hooks, shared utilities, and a documentation website designed to simplify the adoption, maintenance, and evolution of every tool.

My contribution

I was the sole author and maintainer of the project, responsible for designing, building, and evolving the entire ecosystem. I defined the package architecture, developed every tool, and crafted the documentation experience to make adoption straightforward for any team member. In addition, I established development conventions, versioning strategies, and a maintenance workflow that allowed the toolkit to scale consistently as new requirements emerged.

The impact

B Life Toolkit became the foundation the frontend team relied on to build new features and internal products. By centralizing design and implementation decisions, it reduced code duplication, improved consistency across applications, and enabled developers to spend more time solving business problems instead of rebuilding existing solutions.
